Parking is from any of the three arched entrances; often the parking nearest the creek is easiest. The Sedona Roadrunner bus pickup is right on SH179 half-way down.

The 'village' has an old mexican feel, based on the vision of its creator, Abe Miller back in the 70s. Included is a small chapel, quality restaurants, and in addition to the galleries, many other good specialty stores. MORE INFO

Mountain Trails Upstairs. Specializes in various bronze sculptures. Often one of the primary artists is at work. Very nice pieces and many affordable as well. In Sedona, bronze sculpures seem to be almost everywhere. Make sure you bring your camera (though not in the galleries). MORE INFO
Southwest Images Also upstairs. Specializes in the Harvey Caplin Collection. Take some time to examine each painting. They're fascinating, especially if you enjoy western art. MORE INFO

Red Canyon Collections As their sign confirms, contemporary southwest art. Especially jewelry and decorative items.
Shaffer The Gallery Upstairs. Specializes in hispanic art; paintings and sculpture, emphasizing good quality. MORE INFO

REAR OF CENTER (old Harry Girard place)
Bearcloud Gallery Native-American art and very nicely done. It's next to El Prado, so don't miss it in the back. MORE INFO
El Prado by the Creek Make sure you visit here. The outdoor art is really nice, especially if you'd like to take your art-world outside at home. Inside, featured artists are also displayed, mainly painters, but some sculptures (owner only accepts artists not displayed elsewhere). Spiritwind Impressions Upstairs. This is actually a group of artists and you'll enjoy the greater immediacy of the art. In the courtyard nearby, there's often a musician playing. Relax and listen ... so relaxing. MORE INFO
