On Easter weekend, the dramatic and inspired Journey to Jerusalem is presented. Tequa Marketplace , comes alive with sixty costumed characters, live animals, and pageantry.

Limited numbers of FREE tickets to the Guided Journey through Jerusalem will be available, beginning at 4:00 p.m. (Tickets ensure a reserved seat for the Journey to Jerusalem Production.) The Festival Opening will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Guided Journey at 5:00 p.m. The Journey to Jerusalem Presentation begins at 6:00 p.m.

In this special afternoon for the whole family, we see a powerful drama unfold, as Jesus rides into the streets of Jerusalem. The last days of Christ on earth, and on His way to the cross, are brought to life. The audience is witness to an amazing display that points to the magnificent Second Coming of Christ.

A song as ancient as time itself wafts through the courtyard. The children catch the sound by the spirit, and sweet joy thrills their hearts. The song rings out before their little eyes ever see Him. The Master is nearing! At last the donkey colt reaches the arched entrance to the city. Glory! The Master is here! Now all the villagers can sense the charge in the atmosphere. They gather along the street and wave the branches in time with the children. Their King has come, meekly and humbly astride the colt in a profound gesture of peace.

This Easter experience Christ’s Triumphal entry! Witness the drama when the Chief Priests and soldiers arrive to take Jesus away to trial. His glorious resurrection is the centerpiece as He greets the women at the tomb. As He appears to the crowd of 500, the color and glory of worship flags and banners arise, in a final triumph of joy and celebration!
